A rare concert grand piano (240cm) by Zeitter & Winkelmann
This piano was made in Braunschweig, Germany, the same town as Schimmel and Grotrian Steinweg. Although a lesser known maker these days, Zeitter & Winkelmann are highly regarded, especially in Europe where they are more commonly found, and of similar quality
This piano was fully restored in the 1990s and gifted to a church. It has not been played a significant amount since then, being used once a week for services until the church switched to using CDs instead of a live band over a decade ago
The piano is in excellent structural condition with no identifiable issues at all. The soundboard has no cracks and has also never been repaired, showing it has been kept in a very good environment its entire life. The action is in very good condition with minimal wear
Amazing warm bass, and a medium/ bright treble
Lots of wear and tear and scuffs on the case, this could easily be painted over if desired as it is a satin painted finish which is much easier to repair than gloss
A superb piano for a recording studio or a serious pianist who wants a superb quality German piano but for a fraction of the price of one of its more famous brand siblings
Playing is highly recommended to appreciate the quality of this instrument!
