A Pleyel 6.5ft grand piano in a rosewood case
This piano has been restored in the fairly recent past and well maintained since then. It was owned by a prestigious academic society for one of their meeting houses and has only been sparingly used
This piano was originally sold on the 29th November 1910 and shipped to J W Ibberson of Sheffield, owner of one of the largest cutlery firms in the country
Pleyel pianos are relatively rare in the UK, especially these post 1900 models which are excellent instruments and significantly more refined than earlier models
This piano has a very even action and a rich warm tone through all registers. It has an extremely pleasant and nuanced 'European' sound
Suitable for all levels of pianist
In the past this piano was restrung and repolished, and remains in very solid order with extremely stable tuning
We have done a light refurbishment to the action to get it to excellent playing order
Some light wear and color shift to case from age but excellent condition overall
88 keys, 2 pedals
2 year warranty
