Blüthner pianos are a favourite of ours, and we have had many exceptional examples over the years. We tend to find Blüthner pianos to be very robust, and it is not uncommon to come across antique Blüthner pianos which are in remarkably good structural condition, a testament to the quality of design and materials used, which can not be said of all manufacturers. Blüthner's legendary 1920s designs have been in production virtually unchanged for almost 100 years now and remain some of the finest piano designs ever made
Blüthner pianos are known for their unique sound, and rich history. The company was founded in Leipzig, Germany in 1853 and has been producing some of the world's finest pianos ever since. Blüthner pianos are distinguished by their warm, romantic tone, which is characterized by a singing quality and a rich, complex character. The company uses only the finest materials, such as solid spruce soundboards and Renner actions, to ensure that its pianos produce a sound that is both beautiful and expressive. Blüthner pianos are also known for their exquisite craftsmanship and attention to detail, with each piano being handcrafted to the highest standards of quality.
