Piano Restoration Sevices

We have extensive experience of piano restoration, having restored countless Steinway pianos along with many more from Bosendorfer, Bluthner and Bechstein

We are now offering our restoration services to private customers, with a full range of services available including

- Complete refinishing of casework in high gloss polyester or french polish
- Restoration or replacement of soundboards, bridge caps, wrestplanks, full restringing, repainting of iron frames
- Full action replacement, including keyboard where justified

We work with some of the highest skilled and most reputable technicians in the UK to complete our restorations, as well as workshops in Europe for polyester work

Our past work has included:

- Complete restoration of a significant number of concert grands and premium pianos from Steinway, Bosendorfer, Bluthner and others
- Complex insurance restoration work, including significant reconstruction work to fix structural damage to casework and iron frames
- Complete replacement of keyboard and actions with bespoke designs and geometry, along with "dual keyboard" concepts to gain two different action feels and voicing setups with one piano

We will always take a pragmatic approach to restorations, and are very happy to offer a number of solutions at different price points depending on budget and the end usage of the piano
