Yamaha G2 Baby Grand Piano in a wood veneer satin polyester case

The G2 pianos of this era are fundamentally the same piano as the C2, with only minor differences in the casework styling (The C2 has slightly more elaborate styling)

Yamaha grand/ baby grand pianos are extremely rare in the satin wood case finish. These were quite a lot more expensive when new, and only made in very small numbers

Made in Japan, this piano is vastly superior in quality to the Indonesian made Yamaha grands

Casework in superb condition for age, showing how well this piano has been looked after with barely a scratch on it. There is very slight colour fade on the long flat side, but this is fairly minor and not noticeable at all if you put this side against the wall, which is the usual orientation for a piano

The action and acoustic elements of the piano are in excellent order with no issues at all - hardly used and showing only extremely minimal signs of usage. Fantastic even tone throughout all registers
