A rare Bechstein model 12n upright piano in a black high gloss case

This piano dates from 1978 and has been refurbished to an extremely high standard by Jacques Samual Pianos (official London Bechstein dealership)

Post war Bechstein pianos are very rare, only being made in fairly small numbers each year. Unlike most German manufacturers, the Bechstein factory has always remained independently owned without any compromise in quality, so there are no 'bad periods' like one finds with Bluthner and many other German brands

This is an incredible instrument for its size. The top quality Renner action is incredibly smooth and well balanced, without doubt one of the best small upright pianos we have ever played. The hammers appear to have been replaced with top quality Renner hammers and sound incredible

The strings are in perfect condition, as are the soundboard and other acoustic elements. The tuning is extremely stable, with tight tuning pins throughout
