A Bosendorfer 225 semi concert grand from the early 1900s in a black french polished case
This piano is a rare early Bosendorfer 225 and has the iconic extra four sub-contra notes in the bass, which adds an incredible amount of extra resonance and depth of tone
This piano has the conventional modern roller action (not the earlier and inferior Viennese action) and has had new Renner hammers fitted in the 1990s, which are still in good condition today
This piano was also restrung and repinned around the same time, and still has extremely stable tuning with no loose pins and a rich tone through all registers
Fantastic instrument for a serious pianist looking for the Bosendorfer experience without the enormous expense of a new one or a newly fully restored one. Would also be an excellent instrument for a recording studio
Casework has some patina and fading from time but is still attractive overall
