A Steinway & Sons Model B grand piano in a black high gloss case

This piano received a full acoustic restoration in the Hamburg Steinway factory in 2019-2020 which included a new soundboard, new wrestplank, new bridge caps, full restringing, full new damper action (sostenuto prepared for), and more. Genuine Steinway soundboards and wrestplanks are totally impossible to purchase when doing a third party restoration, putting this piano on a level above the many Steinways out there with replaced, non genuine soundboards. Extremely rare and incredibly expensive - the cost for this work alone was £44,000, and it was done to the exceptional level of quality for which Steinway is known

In 2001 the piano also received a complete new top action, repolyestering of casework, full keyboard overhaul and other works, and has only been lightly played since - the action components are in close to new condition

Although the piano only has two pedals, the sostenuto mechanism is prepared for and could be added fairly easily for additional cost should you wish (the damper mechanism has been replaced which is the expensive and time consuming part)

Superb tone and touch as one would expect from a genuine Steinway restoration - although this piano is quite old, all the acoustic elements are brand new, making this essentially a 6 year old instrument
