A Yamaha V124 Silent System upright piano in a high gloss wood case

This piano was made at the UK Yamaha factory (Kemble) in around 2003

The V124 is slightly larger than a Yamaha U1 for superior tone and has some particularly detailed and attractive casework features

The original Yamaha electronic silent system allows for totally silent play through headphones at the press of a button, and of course it functions as a totally normal upright acoustic piano when desired also

This piano has been very well setup and voiced, with a mellower tone than the typically brighter Yamaha uprights

Excellent tone and touch, suitable for beginners right through to the most discerning professional pianists

Not to be confused with the newer P124 model which is a lower quality piano and made in Indonesia

Casework has some colour shifting from light over time hence the lower price. In perfect cosmetic condition these pianos retail for £5000+
