The action is in good condition and has been reconditioned at some point

The strings are in good condition and play with a rich even tone throughout all registers. Unlike many U1s, this piano is not overly bright and has a warmer, medium tone, more preferable to most ears

Despite being in mostly original condition, this piano has a better tone than many fully refurbished U1s we have seen

The tuning is very stable, at concert pitch and with good tightness of tuning pins
