A Steinway Model D concert grand from 1887

This is one of the very first real Model D grand pianos (not the preceeding Centennial design). The design of this piano set the benchmark for concert grand piano performance, and is still essentially the same design being produced today with minor improvements over time

Piano is currently being fully restored inside, casework is original black french polish which we have revived (file placeholder picture shows polyester piano)
