This piano was extensively internally restored at some point in the fairly recent past and is in excellent playing condition

The restoration included replacement of all action components, hammers, shanks, rollers, repetition levers, dampers. As a result the action is extremely precise and feels close to that of a new piano - we have had quite a few Chappell concert grand pianos over the years and this is by far the best action we have seen and played in one

Fantastic tone as always with these 9ft Chappell grand pianos - a real bargain of the piano world compared to the German concert grand pianos

Casework is fairly scruffy with lots of marks and wear. A piano for a serious pianist or studio who isn't bothered how it looks, or a fairly simple painting project for someone with time to sand it down and repaint

A-Frame will be removed and replaced with normal large wheels (unless you wish to keep the a-frame)
