A Steinway & Sons Model O grand piano in a black gloss case
This piano was built in 1919, and was internally restored and restrung in 2001
It remains in very solid playing order, with no internal issues and very stable tuning. In particular, the soundboard is original, with no cracks or shims/ repairs, showing that it has been kept in a very good environment all its life
The black casework is an older type of finish compared to the newer high gloss finishes, and has some crazing/ patina over time. However it still has a vintage charm and is quite presentable - we have priced the piano in line with this, with a newer high gloss finish this piano would be at least twice the price
A superb instrument for somebody who wants the Steinway piano experience and a solid workhorse instrument at a fantastic price
