Bechstein Model C 225cm Semi Concert Grand in a black polished case

This piano was fully restored in 2013 at a cost of over £12,000 by the highly regarded Sussex Piano Services with the work done in the UK

The work included restoration and shimming of the soundboard, repainting of iron frame, new bass and treble strings, new tuning pins, new hammers, new shanks and rollers, key bushings, repolishing of the case, and has been done to a very high standard

This piano was previously the property of the Purcell School for Young Musicians. It was subsequently purchased by a known author, who owned it for the last 20 years and commissioned the restoration in 2013

An excellent piano which remains in very good condition, and tonally is one of the best Bechstein grand pianos we have had for a long time

Original ivory keyboard in good condition overall with just a few small splits, which can be replaced if desired
