A Bosendorfer 170 grand piano from 1970 in a high gloss polyester case
This piano is in exceptional condition for its age, owing to a series of renovations and being carefully privately owned
The piano was restored and casework polyestered around the year 2000 by Markson pianos and is in near perfect condition, with no significant scratches or marks. It also has no sun fading at all as it has been kept well away from sunlight, it is almost impossible to find a used mahogany piano with no fading so this is very rare indeed
The action was renovated around 2015 by Markson pianos and is in exceptional condition - extremely smooth, no wear on the hammers and regulated to concert standard. An excellent tone throughout all registers - it sounds and feels like playing a new piano
Internally the piano is in excellent condition, the soundboard, bridges, wrestplank, strings, are all in good order with no issues
Carefully looked after by enthusiastic amateur pianist. The apartment which housed this piano was a London 'pied-a-terre' and only lived in 1-2 days a week so it has had relatively little usage
An outstanding instrument, one of the best Bosendorfer 170s we have played
