A superb Steinway Model Z upright piano from 1972 in a dark mahogany polyester case
Model Z Steinways are extremely rare. Being one of the smallest upright pianos Steinway made, they are far more suited to most homes than the enormous Model K and Model V, whilst still retaining the same tonal qualities and design principals expected of a Steinway. The Steinway Model Z became synonymous in later years with the Beatles, with the Steinway Model Z John Lennon owned and wrote "imagine" on selling for $2.4 million at auction. John Lennon's piano was only two years older than this one
Despite the small size, this piano still has an amazing depth of sound and resonance - an outstanding tone, which would please the most discerning of pianists
Excellent mechanical condition with the action showing relatively little use, and it has been newly serviced, regulated and tuned
Fantastic small piano, quite possibly the best piano of its size you can buy
High gloss polyester case in extremely good condition, with just a light sun fade where music books have been on the music stand - aside from that, close to perfect
2 year warranty
