An antique upright piano by Hawkes

This piano was selected and prepared by us for the 2022 film Living featuring Bill Nighy

In one of the most emotional and memorable scenes of the film, Nighy sings Scottish folk song The Rowan Tree alongside this piano. Unusually, the piano was actually played and recorded rather than being dubbed over, which required quite a lot of preparation and servicing by us prior to filming at substantial expense (paid for by the production company!)

Piano is in decent working order for an antique piano

Has sat in our storage since filming and was recently rediscovered whilst having a clearout - this was filmed all the way back in 2021 but the film took quite a while to be released
