This piano was fully restored around 20 years ago and sold for £30,000. Since then it has been in the ownership of one of the most important figures in Formula 1 racing

The case is in superb condition with no marks or scratches. The lid is currently being repolished to remove a very slight sun fade seen in the pictures

Internally the piano is in excellent condition, with no structural issues, solid tuning and almost no wear or signs of use on the action. Tonally it is in the top percentile of Bechstein grand pianos, with a rich even tone and no weak registers
