An excellent Bluthner upright piano in a rare arts and crafts "Walter Cave" style case

These cases are very rare on Bluthner pianos, and this is one of the nicest we have ever seen, with beautiful patterns in the flame mahogany and excellent condition varnish - only very minor signs of use in line with age

The piano has been internally restored at some point in the past and remains in very good playing condition, with stable tuning and a rich even tone

This piano also benefits from having the underdamped action, which would almost certainly be a later conversion at significant cost as Bluthner pianos of this age always had the overdamped action. This action gives significant benefits in the damping strength and overall playing ability of the piano

Overall a really excellent example of one of these pianos, and a superb instrument also
