A Bechstein Model A grand piano in an attractive dark wood case

This piano was extensively restored in the fairly recent past and remains in very good playing order, which included replacement of all strings and tuning pins, iron frame repainting, all feltwork replaced, hammers replaced, action renovated, casework repolished and more

This piano was owned until recently by an important 900 year old Abbey, where it was used weekly for services and other musical events, It has been well maintained and has only minimal wear to the action and hammers

Casework has some slight wear around the edges which has been touched up to a reasonable standard, hence the bargain price - in perfect cosmetic order this piano would be significantly more expensive. But overall the varnish is in remarkably good condition, and with no sun fading which is fairly unusual

85 keys, 2 pedals
